Shelley Lackey Youth Award

We are thrilled to announce that the Shelley Lackey Youth Award is accepting nominations. This award is an endowed award of $500 that will be given annually to an individual who reflects Shelley’s light and love in the world. The award recipient is not chosen based on academic achievements. This committee will focus on those nominees who are involved in church on a local and diocesan level and who consistently spread joy and love to those around them, as Shelley did every day of her life.

Candidates for this award should be nominated by a Holy Trinity member who is not a relative. Nominees must be between 16 and 25 years old and must be confirmed in the Episcopal Church.

After a nomination has been made, the nominee must submit a statement explaining how this award would allow them to continue to reflect God’s love in the world. There will be a separate link emailed to nominees to submit this statement.

Nominations will be accepted for the entire month of May. The award will be given in late July.
