Monday Night Dinner & Bible Study
Mondays, 6 pm
Beginning Monday, Aug. 26, we invite college-aged adults to come to the Parish Hall every Monday at 6 pm to be fed—both spiritually and literally with a home-cooked meal!
The first part of our time together begins with sharing a meal prepared and served by our parishioners. Following dinner, we then explore scripture and its relevance to young adult lives. Our evening concludes with a short student-led compline service.
Additionally, there are opportunities during the year for diocesan-wide fellowship with other college ministry groups. Our evenings will be led by our Director of Youth & Young Adult Formation, Virginia Christian, and our intern, Lila Meadows.
If you have any questions, please contact Virginia Christian.
Support Our College Students
There are two ways you can help support our college students on Monday nights—sign up to COOK a meal or sign up to HOST a Monday evening (or both!). These ministries provide students with some TLC by giving them a weekly “touch of home” while they are here in Auburn.
College Bible Study Cooks prepare a home-cooked meal for our college students (about 25–30 people) and deliver it to the church on Monday evenings.
College Bible Study Hosts serve as hosts for a Monday evening by serving the meal, putting away any leftovers and cleaning up afterwards.
